Tong-Il Moo-Do Summer Training in North America

We held a 7- Day Special Training which started on August 26 until August 31, 2002 before summer ends. It was held at Camp Sunrise, NY where nature is a very good relief especially after the training.

Since most of the practitioners here in America are young 2nd generation the workshop was only attended by selected students, with 3 Tong-Il Moo-Do Black Belts, 1 Brown Belt, and the rest are beginners from MFT NY Witnessing Department. Those from UTS were not able to come since they are already preparing for school enrolment. One of the Black Belts, Mr. Ruben Olgado is presently assigned in NY Witnessing Dept and using 3 Tong-Il Moo-Do Martial Arts as witnessing tool. Also the other Black Belt is a 2nd generation who Takahashi Sabumnim is planning to be a Bridgeport University Instructor.

During the workshop, every morning practitioners gave testimony of their life experiences and how Tong-Il Moo-Do help them. This inspired each one of them as well as the Self-Defense Techniques.

The promotion test was held in Belvedere, Tarrytown in the end of the workshop. Takahashi Sabumnim 2nd generation practitioners also participated in the promotion test.
