Tong Il Moo Do was launched in Coast Province in June 9th 2002 through a colorful demonstration at the Coast Police Provincial Headquarters of Dog Section.
Present During the Inauguration was Chief Inspector of the Coast Province Dog Section Mr. Karisa.,Master Aketch, Master Njiru, And other 5 Black belts
organized by Mr. Clarence Mwakio,Currently a brown belt and also the instructor.
Training in the club started in the month of October but the actual full time training started in the club on the month of December 2002 whereby in attendance we have a
junior team of kids and a senior team of adults composed of Police officers and Civilians.
The Dog-Sec Police Tong Il Moo Do Club Mombasa.,Kenya was officially opened in a colorful opening ceremony by the club Patron Chief Inspector. James Karisa together with a TIMD veteran Mr.Wainaina of Coast Development Authority and the Coast Province
Tong Il Moo Do Instructor Mr. Clarence Mwakio Ingalwa who is also the trainer of the club.
The Club members later did a great demonstration of TIMD techniques to the guests and the crowd which was there as part of our entertainment.
In the CI's speech he promised to enhance the introduction of TIMD as a Martial Art to the public and other police stations in the Mombasa District and the Coast Province at large .We are hoping for successes in all our activities because we are also getting more publicity from some Media Firms in Mombasa.Mr.Mwakio
has Just finished a radio Interview with one of the leading radio stations in Mombasa.
