Report on Ivory Coast, West Africa Here is our report of the activities taking place after the successful International seminar in COTE D'IVOIRE - West Africa. 1-Soon after the seminar many of our students were very much inspired
to continue training and advancing their skills and also witnessing to
new students. 2-As a result of that we have now established 7 clubs each consisting
of more than 25 students training 3 times a week. 3-One of the clubs is made up of the COTE D'IVOIRE police force who
are very inspired by the TIMD techniques and also the philosophy, so
far they have asked us to organize a seminar to train and educate a
section of the police force. 4-The second generation also have joined Tong Il Moo Do and 18 of
them are already involved in the training. 5-Soon after establishing these clubs we are now working on the
registration of Tong Il Moo Do with the Ministry of Sports. We are
progressing well but there is still some conditions to fulfill. 6-On Feb.22 year 2003 we organized our first grading for the lower
belts and over 50 students graduated. 7-In the country of Mali, the student representative who had
previously attended the international seminar went back and started
Tong-Il Moo-Do and he has a club of 20 students. It's our sincere hope that we will reach to all corners of this
region and in Africa to spread this indomitable spirit of Tong Il Moo
Do.
