Ever since it's introduction three years ago, TIMD-Uganda has undergone and encounters quite a number of experiences. We had an aim of inquiring membership numbers, however, the encountered experiences underlined the need of confirming, affirming and consolidating the already existing members. This seminar was held in this spirit.

Initially we planned to have a minimum of 60 students selected among the leaders. Unfortunately, due to the financial limitation, we were obliged to reduce the number to 30. The following day (15th) we were joined by 5 Congolese students and we included 6 junior team (blessed children) so the number went to 41 students. The Staff members were 10. This included the three instructors, the National Leader as invited lecturer and the Kitchen staff.

TIMD Philosophies are given from following categories: 1.Raise and fall of Martial Arts and the need of Timd/ 2.Family as school of love/ 3.Preparing Youth for the marriage Leadership skills/ 4.Character building/ 5.Conflicts and conflicts resolution/ 6.Forms philosophy.

The main instructor was Master Didier Mubambe. Two instructors; Felix Walyawula and Junior Musisi all black belts assisted him. Each instructor has a particular group from the beginning up to the end of the seminar. Master Didier tough basically self-defense, Master Felix took the higher belts and Junior was in charge of the lower belts.

The day before the official closing, all participants enjoyed talents from various groups during the family night. Games, songs and drama were performed.

An examination test (written) was organized at the end of the seminar to assess the understanding of all the teaching that took place during the seminar. The best performer in TIMD Philosophy, in Discipline and in Techniques received each a new dobok as special gift from each instructor.
