Martial Arts Festival Report from Ufa, Russia

December 1st, we had 9-th Republic Martial Arts Festival where 14 teams of different styles took part. I invited 2 brothers Dolganovy from Ekaterinburg and team from Ulyanovsk: 2 brothers - Nikolay and Roman, and 2 sisters - Natasha and Olga, to participate in this festival. There were also my students participating: 8 children and 3 students, also my brother Rustem and me.

We demonstrated 1-st and 2-nd form, presentations with perches, swords, Nunchak, artificial fight, one-step sparing, 7-th form, 9-th form, planks breaking, Cham Sarang Bon form and finished everything with "Eye of the Tiger". As a result we were given 7-th place among 14 teams.

In this autumn, I participated in contest "Best trainer-teacher of Ufa, 2003". This contest had 3 steps: 1. Creative report. 2. Opened lesson in front of commission. 3. Gun shooting and running. As a result, I won in this contest and got 1-st place. I received name "The best trainer- teacher of Ufa".

Now Tong Il Moo Do team in Ufa consists of 20 people. There are 9 students and 11 children with white and yellow belts.

I think, by all this we laid big foundation for Tong-Il Moo-Do registration in Ufa.
