TIMD Demonstration at Waseda University in Japan

On April 24, there was the annual joint martial arts demonstration at the campus of Waseda University and 9 different martial arts group performed. It was sponsored by the Circle Association of Waseda University, and its purpose was to show the result of their daily training and to recruit new members . Many students were attracted. It was the first time for Tong Il Moo-Do to take part in. Other groups were Sholinji Kenpo, Daido Juku, Shito Kai, Jyoshinmon, Chinese Martial Arts Research Group, ITF Tae Kwon Do, Bougu Karate, and New Kyokushin Kai. In it there were forms, free sparring, self-defence, breaking, etc. Only TIMD used music performing Form of Peace, One Step Sparring(Formation), Prearranged Free Sparring(One Step Sparring, Perfection Stage), Form of Wan Kwon, and Eye of Tiger. Even though TIMD had only 3 performers of Master Hoshiko, Mr. Matsuzaki, and Miss. Ishida, they really enjoyed and showed appreciation through applaud. It was such a precious opportunity to perform together with other martial artists. We hope to establish TIMD club there soon, and work together with other martial artists to raise good moral standard at the campus.
