There were 24 students including 4 black belts from TKD, Hapkido, Karate, and Aikido. I taught Unification Principle every morning for one hour. I gave a lot of internal guidance. The students were very impressed and at the end of the workshop requested more lectures. All wanted to join TIMD. Philippine Instructor Armando taught every afternoon between 2 and 5 pm martial arts philosophy lectures with power point.
We were very successful in giving a demonstration at the local university. Approximately 500 students attended. Of these, 40 students signed up for future classes. Luke, the Ambassador of Peace, who is helping us start TIMD classes on campus, said many students were not able to sign up because they had to rush to class. He estimated approximately 100 students would sign up for the first class. Chairman of Tonga TIMD Federation, Mr. and Mrs. Boin were fully supporting the seminar. They were very inspired to begin teaching IEF at the university. They wanted to begin immediately.
I feel very good about the future of TIMD in PNG.
