21-day TIMD workshop in Moscow, Russia

January 10~31, 2005

On January 10-31, 2005 in Moscow was held a continental 21 day TIMD workshop. It was organized with the support of Rev. Park, the senior assistant of Dr. Seuk, and Mr. Murakami, TIMD secretary general international, and was led by native Moscow instructors Natalya Tsvik, Ekarerina Shleapnikova and Alexey Pavlov. It was the first time for the instructors to lead such a seminar by themselves, so it was a good experience of being a true leader, true teacher and true parent.

36 people took part in the workshop. For most of the trainees it was the fist time to go through such an intensive physical training and to challenge their physical and especially mental limitations.

All the participants invested themselves totally with sincerity and through that could gain wonderful experiences of uniting mind and body and of realizing that they can do much more then they expected of themselves.

TIMD philosophy, which the trainees studied during the seminar, impressed them all deeply and helped to understand the meaning of TIMD as a strong witnessing tool and to feel Dr. Seuk's deep desire to unite all martial artists through TIMD and to bring them to True Parents. Through understanding of the meaning of the forms (bons) the trainees could experience the Devine Principle in action studying and practicing different forms.

A joyful memory for all the participants was the visit of Rev. Park and the closing speech of Mr. Mogushi, the honorary chairman of Eurasian TIMD department and the chairman of organizational committee TIMD international. He called all the trainees not to leave the workshop place without strong determination to invest all their heart and skills they gained into salvation of young people in their own towns.

As result at the end of the seminar all the participants shared that they grew a lot through these 21 day and that discipline and vertical tradition set by Dr. Seuk though TIMD and carried out by the instructors inspired them to pass it to other students and to obtain a deep heart of filial piety towards elders and towards the True Parents themselves.
