We are very happy to report about our first 3-days TIMD workshop that we hold in our training center form 4th to 6th of February 2005. Our brother Mernand Shehu(18 years old), who got blue belt in 15 days TIMD workshop held last month in Albania, was appointed as responsible person for TIMD in Albania.
At the end of the workshop the international instructors, Master Takahashi and Dr. Dan Harbour, asked all participants to find three people who can attend TIMD workshops within three months and all participants determined to fulfill the goal. When the 15 days WS finished we decided to have the first 3 days TIMD WS on the beginning of February.
25 people attended the workshop and 16 of them were for the first time. Out of these 16 new ones Mernand brought 7 brothers from his city Berat. Mernand was also the Director of the workshop and the Instructor. He could manage really very well and even though it was very short time we could see that the participants showed very high standard.
All participants had great desire to learn about TIMD and showed respect, discipline, humbleness and dedication. Three Character Education lectures were given on "New philosophy of Martial Arts, The Need for Moral Education and Life Goals, The Consequences of Sexual Revolution". We really see TIMD as a very successful tool to educate young people.
The schedule of the workshop was very tough (similar to 15 Days WS) and everybody followed it very well. All participants asked for the next workshop and we decided to hold the next TIMD workshop in March 11th - 13th. Already the ones who participated in the 15 Days Ws and the ones who attend this 3 days WS are thinking seriously for the summer WS which will be held from 1st of August until 9th September (40 Days WS).
