The Main workshop was opened on July 10th, 2005 at the one of the NGOs in Ethiopia . The name of this NGO is GOLE-Ethiopia. This NGO approved to teach TIMD. There were 50 participants, many of them practiced Taekwondo before.
Instructors Solomon and Michael led this workshop. It included TIMD basic and IEF lectures. More important for the participants were IEF lectures since many of them do not have family and their life was miserable. I really appreciate instructors Solomon and Michael because they could make efforts to change their lifestyle and character. It was not so easy in the beginning but gradually by creating close relationship and also through IEF lectures they started to change their character. When I saw the participants after one month I was surprised because I could see how we can change youth character by TIMD.
The manager of NGO was also so inspired by changing of their character since they tried before to work with youth but it was not successful. She asked me to open TIMD club at the GOLE- Ethiopian NGOs Academy in the beginning of the next year.
In the conclusion we had demonstration in front of manager of GOLE-Ethiopia and our guests.
