Tong-Il Moo-Do got a Trophy on the Martial Art Tournament, Ethiopia

The Addis Ababa Martial Art Federation prepared tournament to increase membership and to show for the audience the following Martial Arts Tong-Il Moo-Do, Aikido and Kick Boxing.

Before the tournament start TIMD demonstration was performed and the group showed the spirit of TIMD. Many of the audience expressed their respect by shouting and clapping. After the demonstration of TIMD each martial art group started the tournament. Then the Individual Form Competition started. TIMD's was represented by Mr. Tegeng and Micheal. They performed (Cham Gajeung Eui Bon and Sunghwa Eui Bon), both of them won and got the 1st place

In the second Woman Group Form Competition category we could not participate, because we did not prepare well. In the future we will have Womans' Tournament participants. On this category the Aikido group has got the 1st place and Kick Boxing group the 2nd place.

The tournament continued by Team Form Competition again the Aikido group took the 1st place, TIMD group 2nd place and 3rd place is Kick Boxing group. In the conclusion of the tournament there was demonstration of Jacob World Tong-Il Moo-Do Club, Dan Aikido and Karate Club and Africa Martial Art Academy (Kick Boxing International) Group.

In the end of the tournament there was Awards Ceremony for participants by Ethiopian TIMD Chairman Rev. Ryoo. Trophies were awarded for the champion groups by the President of Addis Ababa Martial Art Federation Tournament Organization.

I would like to appreciate and thank Rev. Ryoo for his support and great contribution for Ethiopia TIMD. Also, I would like to appreciate and encourage TIMD students and tournament participants for their great success on this tournament. TIMD has vision and great purpose for the future to improve our result and to work hand in hand with other Martial Art Clubs.

Finally, we proved the Growth and the success of TIMD in Ethiopia and we are expecting the Ethiopian TIMD group will participate and get many trophies for Africa by attending the World Martial Arts Peace King Cup open Tournament.
