Knowing that Tong-Il Moo-Do martial arts is a powerful tool in reaching out to young people former black belt instructors living in New Jersey organized a series of training to refresh and review their skills and techniques in teaching martial arts. The training is held every weekend at the house of Instructor Greg Agulan who donated a space for Tong-Il Moo-Do training. The training started March 19, 2006 with 6 black belts and two potential advance students.
Since most of the Tong-Il Moo-Do black belts were under both techniques linear and circular, they are still enthusiastic and eager to learn the advance and innovative combination of both techniques and the practical applications which are new for them. In addition, we also elected our own officers and make ways to make our small group into a Tong-Il Moo-Do club.
Our training will culminate into an Instructors Workshop which will be in May to give promotion and certifications to the instructors. From then, we plan to reach out to the youth ministry of churches with Tong-Il Moo-Do as our witnessing tool.
