Be informed that Tong-Il Moo-Do was also established here in the San-Francisco Bay Area on November 2004 thru the initiative of Mr. Thomas Sagayo. It was approved and supported by Rev. Kevin Thompson, Pastor - Bay Area Family Church and Mrs. Kristina Seher, Principal - Principled Academy.
Mr. Sagayo was given permission to use the school's rooms for his scheduled trainings and was assisted by the school Principal in the advertisement of Tong-Il Moo-Do to the parents of the pupils of the school. Master Hidemitsu Shimizu has given advises with regard to Tong-Il Moo-Do lesson matters.
Mr. Sagayo was assisted by his wife Remy from the opening day of Tong-Il Moo-Do in the school until August 2005. Mr. Benjamin Benito followed after the Remy Sagayo on September 2005 until present time. Alain LeRoy visited and gave instructions during his visit. Master Shimizu visited and supervised the trainings once in a while.
There were 18 young practitioners on the opening day and 8 pupils quit along the way but we gained 10 new pupils when the Principled Academy started the new school year of 2006 - 2007. Overall, we currently have 20 active young practitioners.
In addition to the Martial Art trainings, Mr. Sagayo coordinated and cooperated to Service for Peace - Bay Area Chapter (SFP) in giving voluntary services to East Bay Communities. The first was on January 16, 2005 during the Dr. Martin Luther King Day, followed by a 4-day Summer of Service on June 30 to July 2, 2005, then on September 17, 2005 and the most recent Dr. Martin Luther King Day again of the current year 2006.
Mr. Sagayo also coordinated with the Ocean Church Boat Captain. And the young practitioners had a taste of our beloved founder's favorite - fishing. They fish at the San Francisco Bay on July 2, 2005.
Mr. Sagayo also implemented a 4-day Martial Arts (modified) Camp (or special training as he put it) on December 26-29, 2004.
Mr. Sagayo also conducted 3 Graduation and Belt Ceremonies held on December 2 9, 2004, on June 4, 2005 and on March 30, 2006. It was attended and witnessed by the parents of the young practitioners.
Lastly, Mr. Sagayo conducted Tong-Il Moo-Do Demonstrations where his wife Remy performed with him the Tong-Il Moo-Do Ballet with the sound of the "Eye of the Tiger" at the God's Day celebration of the Bay Area Family Church on January 1, 2005. The young practitioners also performed Breaking Shows before the performance of the Instructors and the audience was all wow and big "wow" for some. And there was another God's Day Tong-Il Moo-Do performance of the current year, January 1, 2006 where the Assistant Instructor, Benjamin performed Tong-Il Moo-Do Aerobics together with selected young practitioners.

In addition to Principled Academy Chapter there is also another chapter in Hayward, CA initiated by Master Hidemitsu Shimizu with 14 students.
We also had provided Tong-Il Moo-Do Instructions to the CARP - Second Generation Task Force (STF) Team Captain Trainees upon the direction of Master Hidemitsu Shimizu. The training was held at Berkeley, CA where the STF Team Captain Trainees resides. The Instructions was held on October 2005 to December 2005. There were at least 18 STF practitioners.
The Tong Il Moo Do - Bay Area Region is active and moving forward.
