At the beginning of this year I left Bamako to Bougouni for a training of 9 months, before going I did the promotion test of some of my students, they were 12,
7 to yellow belt and 5 to green.
Their parents were there to encourage them and they were very glad and impressed by their technical level.
At the end we gave them certificates for their new grades.
After I left Bamako one of my students takes care of the Dojang. On march I created a club in Bougouni , I began with 5 students ,one month and after I had 15 ,we worked for 5 months. During the cultural week of IFM (teacher formation institute) we participated with Shotokan ,Taekwondo and Kung fu clubs , this day with only some
Self- defence techniques TIMD was the best. Many important personalities were there; they enjoyed our techniques and were impressed by the TIMD tenets, many people told me they want to do TIMD, so they want me to do my best for the continuation of TIMD in Bougouni. After this day I received 3 students of Shotokan who trained with me for 2 weeks, they are 2 brown belts and one blue.
On July 2nd, 2006 in IFM of Bougouni I held grading test of 12 students who all passed to yellow belt. I was very glad to see many people there .They were the representatives of the martial arts association of Bougouni.
I hope we can hold an international workshop in Mali to give opportunity to most of the students who need more training and upgrading in Mali
