For the First time TIMD was introduce to Oklahoma City, in the state of State of Oklahoma USA by instructor Luis Carreno, where 12 young participants took part of the existing three day training.

The seminar was very physically challenging for all the participants because of two factors. First, in Oklahoma city the weather was not helping us, It was extremely hot and all the training sections were held outdoors. Second, the majority of the participants did not have any previous martial arts background which made even more challenging.

Despite the hot weather and the lack of experience in martial arts everyone was very interested in TIMD Techniques, Everyone trained hard and gave 100% attention to the classes and dedicated totally to the end.

The training started really early in the morning with circular movements and "form of peace" every day, soon after the morning exercise was time to recharge and get some breakfast to continue on through the day.

We focused on learning the first 4 basic circular movements as well as learning linear techniques such direct punches and kicking and forms. In the afternoon we practiced all self-defense moves and TIMD ground fighting so that the participants get the most out their training.

The last section of the day was internal training or IEF Character Education lectures, where the participants had time to relax and meditate about their life, about what they must become to be a true TIMD practitioner.

The participants really absorbed the content and the message of the lectures and made a promise that they would live a life of purity and live a life of service to others by practicing universal values.

Another interesting activity was a "Service for Peace" put together by the participants of the 3-day seminar. The project was held at the local church and consisted of cleaning the backyard and putting away all the junk and trash that was accumulated in years. At the End the pastor of the church was really happy for our help and the backyard and garden was better looking after the service for peace project.

The majority of the training took part at the campus of the Oklahoma University and some other times we trained at the local park.

After this seminar one brother that had experience in Martial arts is taking the roll of instructor in Oklahoma, he is still learning TIMD but his skills are good enough to teach and he has been holding weekend classes at the local church.
