TIMD workshop for Police Task Force in Marshall Islands (Oceania)

October 16~27, 2006











October 16th the first TIMD workshop in Marshall Island was started with Master Don Harbour. Participants were total 50 including 10 from President Guard, 15 from Local Police, 5 from Cost Guard and 20 from National Police.

On October 19th, "Tong-Il Moo-Do" started new page in the history of Marshall Islands! Master Don, Mr. and Mrs. Ito could meet President's couple at Air port VIP lounge just before their departure to Fiji for International Conference. President said to Mr. Ito "You learn first and later teach me!" The attitude of President Guards toward us has been totally changed; it seems that they respect us!

October 27th was the final day of TIMD training to Police Task force in Marshall Islands. The training was provided for 30 Police students by Master Don Harbour. Students were very inspired by TIMD self-defense and also by TIMD philosophy lectures which were given by Mr. Kenichi Ito. The same evening was the RMI Peace Ambassadors meeting and Master Don made brief explication about TIMD project with Character Education to Peace Ambassadors at Restaurant's Conference Room at downtown.

Master Don made demonstration and TIMD presentation to about 50 young people gathered on October 28 at ECC. They were very interested and expecting to learn more. National Police Training Captain and Local Police commissioner made congratulate message. Master Don and Rev.Ito made final remarks to them by saying thanks of their enthusiastical participation and do our best to continue this kind of training for more advanced level.
