We had 4 courses in 10 days, starting on January 31st until February 9, 2007. These courses were given as follows: to the National Police, in which 14 officials and sub-officials participated, and to the Institutional Protection Service, where 18 militaries participated, and to the Technical Jury Police, where 19 officials participated, finally to the Hi Sao Lee Academy, of Master Fabio, 10th Dan, and 16 Instructors of his style. Master Fabio and his best student who traveled to the Philippines participated in the TIMD Peace King Cup, in November 2006.
We had a honor and a privilege to have the support of Great Master Don Harbour 8th Dan, who taught TIMD Self Defense System in half of each class, while I gave the other part of the class. I also developed the Pyung Hwa form. After each class we always gave lectures on values from the Martial Arts Philosophy. The audience was always very attentive and curious asking and commenting. They were very impressed about the TIMD techniques as well as the value lectures. The courses which were observed by the Government forces were organized by Master Enrique Ruiz, 5th Dan TIMD. He is instructor of the National Guard.
When we visited from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Hi Sao Lee School, these young people were spiritually brilliant with a warrior spirit. It@remind me back to the Hwa Ran Do Practitioners as they trained hard in the mountains and prayed for hours to defend the King and their people.
One Sunday afternoon, we were invited to see an exhibition of their school. Around 300 Instructors participated. They all radiated a healthy energy. With great background music and hundreds of black belts demonstrating, accompanied with their shouts, a great martial atmosphere was created. We had just finished giving two days of unification principle lectures. The main masters were so inspired to hear such tremendous news of Dr. and Mrs. Moon's projects.
Once again it was demonstrated that Martial Arts can be a door to the hearts of youth, forging discipline and giving an example of life to follow. Humanity is passing through a crisis of lack of self control. Now it is time to go forward with martial arts as Dr. and Mrs. Moon proclaimed the need of the Soccer and Martial Arts Peace King Cup.
Master Fabio is current vice mayor of Miguelito where has 300 thousand population, as Panama has a population of only 3 million. This shows us that God has prepared many leaders to inherit the victorious foundation of True Parents. 33 years ago, Master Fabio settled his Martial Arts foundation with the following motto: "A Institution for Peace researching the Illumination and spiritual harmony between human beings". His Academy is the biggest Martial Arts Academy in Panama, with 5000 students.
The Hi Sao Lee Academy promised to send a big group for the next Peace King Cup tournament that will take place in October in Korea.
I want to give my greatest appreciation and thanks to the care and dedication of the Hanna Family, as Spiritual Counselors for TIMD, and to all members of the IEF, who gave value and Unification Principle lectures.
