The Ethiopia Tong-Il Moo-Do celebrates the 4th TIMD Workshop and 6 Years TIMD activity success program to produce Black Belts and Instructors after long years of struggle and Hardship. The Workshop
and Festival demonstration participants were more than 40 best students selected form the Academy and many of them are Yellow to Black Belt level students and Instructors were gathered to celebrate and demonstrate the unique TIMD techniques where 24 students received certificate and Belt truth Promotion Test.
The Workshop was held for 3 days From March 1-3, 2007 for the Promotion Test and Demonstration Participants to check each technique and to Give IEF Lecture more deeply. The Workshop was lead by International Instructor Master Yacobe Abebe and National Instructors (Solomon, Tegegn, Alazar and Bisrat).
On the Morning of March 4, 2007 we held promotion test. And (9) reactive Yellow Belt, (5) Green Belt, (1) Green With Blue Stripe, (1) Blue Belt, (1) Blue With Brown Stripe, (2) Brown Belt, (1) Brown with Black Stripe and (3) were recommended for the 1st Degree Black Belt for the World Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation.
On the same afternoon we concluded our festival by demonstrating in front of 100 guests which included Parents of students, Martial Art instructors and VIP guests from the Addis Ababa Martial Art Federation. After the Demonstration awards were given to those who had passed the grading certificate, Belt and for the yearly Best Student Medal. On the same event an Honorable Black Belt award was given to Fikir Selam Academy (International School) which is one of the TIMD training Academy Director and (Peace Ambassador) Mr. Mohammed Nuru and owner of the Academy Mr. Santino. Mascaro for their great help for Ethiopia TIMD development and for their continued support by giving their school as a TIMD Ethiopia Academy training center and provide free office space.
In conclusion Guests were so happy about TIMD Demonstrations and student discipline. Some of the students parents complimented and appreciated the fact that TIMD have a unique techniques and Philosophy to guide the students for the true way of leadership and we concluded by looking forward to up grade the TIMD Ethiopia Members to more than 300 within the coming 2 years to open many TIMD clubs.
