It was very attractive and useful workshop for Cambodian Martial Artists.
Generally Cambodian people like to do something together. Their life is full of ceremony and party, such as Wedding ceremony, Funeral Ceremony, several Buddhism ceremony almost every month, Chinese traditional ancestor worship celebration and so on.
But their relationship is humanistic and very fragile. They have been losing the religious meaning of each ceremony.
In the Martial Arts, the same thing happens. Even if Cambodian Martial Arts Federation exists in Phnom Penh to organize the external matter, such as which group can use where and when within Olympic Stadium, the spiritual aspect is missing.
Tong-Il Moo-Do helps to recognize the original purpose of Martial Arts and revives their spirit.
Furthermore, it brings the harmony between each group and it stimulates each other to develop both in spirit and technique.
Many were surprised and grateful to learn that Martial Art is the way to help not only the unity between mind and body, but establishing good family. They have never thought that Martial Art can be the good way of preparation for marriage.
Most of people expect that Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation will launch in Cambodia and to get the scholarship to go to abroad to join the international tournament.
It was too short to learn the pattern of Tong-Il Moo-Do. They could not remember how to move within the short time. But all lacking things were covered by the last Tong-Il Moo-Do performance with music. It captured peoples' heart, made joyful and astonishing. Surely, they especially young people want to learn it.
Also I recognize how important a leader's character and attitude to guide people through the good example of Master Hoshiko. The leader should be disciplined and have open and warm heart. I want to inherit this point from him.
