In Moldova , Speia village, International seminar for black belts TIMD instructors was held during May 15 - 21, 2007. The seminar was guided by the Chief Instructor of WTIMD Federation in self-defense system, Master Don Harbor.
The seminer was also held in order to well prepare for the upcoming Korea PKC open tournament
Daily schedule was comprised four training Sessions and one lecture session:
6.00 - 7.30 Forms and preparation for Korea
9.00 - 10.00 TIMD philosophy lectures
10.00 - 13.00 Don Harbor, weapons, COBO and JOE
15.00 - 18.00 Don Harbor, self-defense technique
20.00 - 21.00 Free sparring.
In the seminar were participant representatives from Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and Kenya. Three international instructors from Taekwon-Do , Victor Morozan -V dan, Gheorghe Panuta - V dan and Andrei Cozonac - IV dan, attended this seminar. They were highly impressed by TIMD Self Defense System techniques by Master Don Harbour. Mr. Andrei Cozonac proposed to Master Don to make new seminar in an appropriate time in Moldova of a same type and to invite people who have high position from military Moldova , generals and national security, and instructors from other federations.
Master Don responded that such possibility exists in the beginning of November, also he said if he'll have good health , he wished to visit Moldova and conduct such seminars every 6 months. The seminar was successful and contained a high spirit.
After seminar, Master Don was invited to National University of Sports in Moldova where he taught students self-defense techniques for two hours . Angela Polevaia, a martial arts instructor , was impressed by the Self defense techniques and she expressed her desire to participate in the future TIMD seminars. In the evening time , master Don was invited by Victor Morozan Taekwon-do instructor 5th dan , to his School, and Master Don appreciated the discipline on his trainings and it's high level of kicks execution.
At the end of the day Master Don visited TIMD training in Moldova lyceum Cervantes and we discussed about the plan of the future TIMD activities in Moldova and Europe.
