The seminar was conducted by Master Don Harbour, the Chief Insternational Instructor In the Tong-Il Moo-Do self Defense system.at Manej sports complex in Chisinau city.The participants were Tong-Il Moo-Do instructors and high level instructors from the Taekwon Do Federation . The total number of participants was 32.The participants were from Moldova, Russia, Poland and Kenya.
The seminar basically dealt with unarmed self defense: escapes, ground combat and use of weapons. These included Knife techniques, using the long stick (JOE) and using the short stick (COBO), single and double.
The seminar schedule was as follows:
9:00 – 12:30 Session I
12:30 – 15:00 Lunch break
15:00 – 18:30 Session II
18:30 Closing
The participants were very much inspired. A comment from one of the participants; a forth dan from Taekwon Do Federation said that Master Don Harbour is not a master but a grand master. The seminar was a great success.
