I'd like to report for Tong Il Moo Do 2 days intensive workshop and promotion test. 2 participants were from New York, 2 from New Jersey, 1 from Bridgeport and 4 from Local red hook community and 14 from UTS.

TIMD activities in New Jersey, USA

Knowing that Tong-Il Moo-Do martial arts is a powerful tool in reaching out to young people former black belt instructors living in New Jersey organized a series of training to refresh and review their skills and techniques in teaching martial arts. The training is held every weekend at the house of Instructor Greg Agulan who donated a space for Tong-Il Moo-Do training.

On Sunday March 5, 2006 clubs from the Tri-state area gathered together for a TIMD seminar that end up in very victorious activity for the progress and advancement of TIMD in USA. It was time for true brotherhood and for reuniting with those Tongilmoodokas, masters, friend or students that are part of our WTMF.

On January 29, 2006 at the newly location of New York City TIMD Academy was held the first TIMD Seminar in the metro area conducted by Instructor
Luis Carreno. The purpose of the seminar was to test its 10 participants and inaugurate our new academy and for a deep internal realization of TIMD philosophy (IEF).

Florida TONG-IL MOO-DO News

TONG-IL MOO-DO enter Florida in March 2004 under the leadership of Instructor Luis Carreno, the training sections are held twice a week for about 2 hours each class, where students get to know each of the techniques of TIMD including Kicking, punching, throws, ground fighting and TIMD philosophy.

The first World Martial Arts Peace King Cup USA Open Tournament was held at the UTS in Barrytown, New York on Sunday 30th May 2004. The peaceful setting of the UTS was graced by a beautiful day, with plenty of sun and cool temperatures.

We had a promotion test and TIMD tournament in UTS. We had three kinds of competition one is "Form competition"," Sparring competition" and "Breaking Competition." Every competition had a very good atmosphere. All participants were so exited.

World Tong-Il Moo-Do UTS Club members helped to prepare the boxes, so that, IRFF can send 21 boxes filled with 'Comfort Kits' to Iraq.
IRFF is working together with CDR: Christian Disaster Response, to ship the goods to Iraq.

We held a 7- Day Special Training which started on August 26 until August 31, 2002 before summer ends.
It was held at Camp Sunrise, NY where nature is a very good relief especially after the training.

Tong-Il Moo-Do Promotion test at UTS

we had our first promotion test with Senior Master Takahashi and President
Hendericks as our guest. We had 12 Second generations and 4 UTS students being promoted.
One of them has Tae Kwon Do black belt and two of them have Blue belt and Yellow belt from Won Hwa Do. It was a good start.
